How the estimate works

The default uses BullionVault’s published starting order-board charge of 0.5% for a purchase and 0.5% for a later sale. You can lower the input if your applicable annual-volume rate is lower. Silver custody is estimated at 0.48% per year, billed monthly, subject to a monthly minimum listed as US$8.

The estimate holds the silver value constant. Actual custody charges move with the holding value, while dealing costs depend on executed value and the applicable rate. Market spread, currency conversion, cash withdrawal, tax and physical delivery are outside the estimate.
