Market prices and currencies
Gold and silver spot quotes come from Gold API. Bitcoin pricing is obtained by the site’s market-data service. EUR, PLN and SEK conversions use daily exchange rates from Frankfurter, which publishes European Central Bank reference data. USD is the base currency.
The site requests refreshed market information approximately once per minute. Provider timestamps and the FX reference date appear beside the calculators. Exchange rates are daily references rather than intraday trading quotes. If a provider cannot be reached, the interface labels the last available or example values.
Gold/silver ratio
The ratio divides the gold price per troy ounce by the silver price per troy ounce. Both prices use the same currency and unit. The result shows how many troy ounces of silver equal one troy ounce of gold at the quoted metal prices.
Silver holdings
Grams and kilograms are converted using 31.1034768 grams per troy ounce. Fine-silver weight equals total weight multiplied by purity as a decimal. Estimated metal value equals fine-silver troy ounces multiplied by the selected silver price.
Portfolio scenarios
Each allocation is multiplied by its assumed return, then combined into a one-period result. Allocations must total 100%. The simulator does not model rebalancing, fees, taxes, volatility, exchange-rate changes or the order of returns.
Purchasing power
Future purchasing power uses the formula current cash divided by one plus the annual inflation rate, raised to the number of years. The required future amount uses the inverse calculation. It assumes a constant rate and zero interest on cash.
Limitations
Quotes are indicative and may be delayed or inaccurate. Physical-metal VAT, premiums, shipping, insurance, custody and resale spreads are excluded. Calculator outputs are educational scenarios, not forecasts or personalized investment, tax or legal advice.
