How to use these numbers
Enter the total weight and purity of your silver. The calculator converts grams or kilograms to troy ounces, multiplies by the purity percentage, then applies the silver spot price in euros.
For example, 100 troy ounces at 99.9% purity contain 99.9 troy ounces of fine silver. At an assumed €30 per ounce, the metal value would be €2,997. This example is not a current market quote.
Use a separate calculation for holdings with different purities. Collectible value, taxes, purchase premiums and the dealer’s resale spread are not included.
